Sample Analysis & Aggregate Audio Device

Post by the sky patrol » Tue Dec 11, 2007 4:39 am

I've discovered that if I use the Aggregate Audio Device I am unable to bring in unanalyzed audio into Live without hurting the performance of the application tremendously. Sample analysis runs slowly and it is impossible to launch any clips at all. If I switch to another driver, everything returns to normal and the program works fine.

Is this incompatibility between aggregate audio devices and sample analysis a known bug? Has anyone run into this issue, and, if so, have they found a solution?

Hi!

I've had some serious issues about using Live with aggregated audio device. For me it just caused Live to crash when dragging mp3 in the session...

The only workaround I found is to stop using aggregated audio devices! You should be able to do the same using JackOSX as explained in this thread : http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6409

Hope it helps!
