forwarding of sysex messages to plugins

I am looking to use a softsynth (specifically the Native Instruments FM8) with a microtuning app called "Li'l Miss Scale Oven" (nonoctave.com). The author of LMSO states that the FM7, at least, is ideal for such use "in a plugin environment/host that supports the forwarding of sysex messages to plugins."

Is Live such an environment? Though I guess as much, I cannot find specific info on this.

well Live doesn't support SysEx. Maybe the SysEx file can be loaded into FM7 by it's menu??? i think that's how you load DX/TX files into it, right?
