4.01 disc image mounts on start up every time.

hello there,
every time i start up live the little live 4.01 disc image mounts on my desktop. then when i quit it's still there and i have to eject/trash it. is this normal? none of my other applications have ever acted in this way.

Hi bitmap,

probably you have made a shortcut to Live within the diskimage.
But you should copy the complete "Live 4.0.1 OS X" folder to any place on your local disk.
