dual core 3.0 or quad core better for running LIVE 7??

yes, i am putting in a ton of RAM but which kind of processor will i benefit from the most????

Live 7 Performance Test

Lookin' like Quad Cores are pretty much the cream. Or hold out for an Octo Core.

yep, quad.

I have a dual 2.45ghz which scores 44%
the quad version of the 2.45ghz scores 22%

an equivalent octo would score 11%
