Drum rack + Trigger finger question.
Hi
I tried searching here and in the live manual but I can't seem to get my trigger finger to work as a "control surface" for the new drum rack. It works fine when the trigger finger is set manually to send notes to the drum rack, but then it wont work if I want to change to a different set of cells.
I want to be able to use the trigger finger just like in the demonstration vid for the drum rack, always having the correct pad assigned for the visible cell. Any ideas whats going on ?
Thank you

Hey, try loading preset 1 on the TF (recall -> p1). Then try the drum rack. Also rightclick on the drumrack title bar and lock to trigger finger to keep the mapping always active.

you need to use transposition to get to the other cells - they're not like different presets, it's exactly like when notes are layed out across a keyboard, the visual representation is just different.
Create a preset to trigger the first 16 notes - then transpose that up 16 notes; presto, you now trigger the next group of cells, and so on.
(edit: ahhh, like the demo vids... dunno mate, never was much into that stuff. sorryz)

Hmmm.... In the preferences -> midi/sync tab, do you have the trigger finger selected as a control surface? Also the two dropdowns beside it should have your trigger finger in and out ports selected.
Have you ever used enigma or changed the presets on the TF? Maybe it's changed.
All I did to get mine working like in the video, was select those 3 dropdowns in the midi prefs, and loaded factory default preset 1 on the TF.
