What do you mean by this? that the action of taking a drum loop from the loop form into the sliced-samples form was remote-controllable? I wouldn't want to control that in real-time, as it involves the generation of Live Devices inside tracks... not the best thing to do in a performance or such.

If you mean "Wouldn't it be cool to switch between which slices are being played by tweaking a controller knob?" then you can do that by remote controlling a pitch plugin before the slice rack.

If by the second part, you mean the ability to slice to an existing midi track, I'm with you!!!

I was just about to post a midi-slicing request, and this post was at the top of the list...

might not be what you had in mind, keith, but here's mine:

right-click on a midi clip to be able to slice it
- with options to either slice per note-on, or slice per grid-definition
- and an option to either make a stack of clips on the current track or create a drum-rack

I've only spent 3 seconds of thought on this, so there's probably holes all through the concept, but I'm imagining each slice would be the same length as the original clip, with the note/s contained remaining in their positions relative to the clip's grid.

and (unless it exists & I just haven't caught on) I'd also like to see a slice option for audio that would just make individual audio clips... kinda like a slice n' crop
