Advantages of a new Sound card?

Hey, Im using the sound card my mac book came with, and am thinking about getting a new one so i can cue parts in ableton. are there advantages to having a better sound card beyond just having multiple audio outputs? will the actual sounds be of a higher resolution? will ableton run quicker? or is solel for the multiple audio outputs?

depends on how much you want to spend, but a better soundcard will likely sound better, have lower latency, etc.

It helps sound quality, latency issues, CPU load, and also cuts back on glitches.
