I'm triying the Live 7 Demo. everything looks and acts beatyfully. but...
Why the hell the new ableton instruments eat all my processor?
I was really excited by the release of the new ableton instruments: Tension and specially Analog. but after triying some tweaks I've decided to buy only the Live upgrade and drumracks. Everything else does not worth it. it's a shameful way of using CPU resources, and I even think you guys lost your vision of simplicity and computer friendly software when made these new intruments. I have a friend with a fast dual core: 30% of processor with just one analog. it makes no sense at all.
I can make cool analog souynds with thousands of VST. I thought that maybe Analog would do it better and CPU cheaper. Analog and tension are not good enough to pay for.
Everything in Live stands victorious but these two devices are a mistake for the abletons. I'm sorry about this kind of post but I needed to complain... bye
