I run ambientgroove.net. I love ambient music and post my mixes to the site for others to enjoy, and to provide more exposure for this often under-appreciated genre.
The music is released under Creative Commons by the artists, meaning that it's free (and legal) to download!
I go through the creative commons releases, find songs that work together and then mix them into a seamless mix set resulting in sustained chill. I use ableton live for mixing the sets.
Stop by and download some mixes for your chill sessions!

Check out the Enactogen mixes, very tasty, mixes creative commons stuff, you can then hunt down artists that grab you.

Get a subscription and check out Biosphere, Tim Hecker, Lawrence English, DJ Olive- too many to name. Or find artists you know and look through lists of members with similar tastes. Cheap as chips, and legit, I've barely bought a CD in the last 18 months!
