I run Ableton 7.0.1 on a Macbook Pro (OSX 10.4.11). Live is at the center of my live performance as I'm running Arkaos VJ and Reason software via Rewire. Everything so far has been working well. Today (before even booting up Reason or Arkaos), I tried to beatmap some mp3s and the clips would not play. After sample analysis finished (which would only happen on every third mp3), if I moved the first warp marker to an earlier point in the sample, it would give me a the OSX spinning wheel forever, forcing me to force quit the program. And the worst of all: audio has sometimes just stopped. I'm starting to get REALLY nervous as I've been promoting this show on Sunday for a couple months and this software is not behaving appropriately.
I tried calling tech support in the US (within the appropriate hours), but I just got a voice recording. I also tried reinstalling the software twice and I deleted the Preferences from the Library. Same problems. Please help!
