Faderfox Support

I thought Ableton 6 would have full support for the Faderfox. I was so disappointed when I upgraded and found it missing...

Does anyone else use this fantastic little box? It is so annoying only being able to work with a few presets.

Can anyone recommend a relatively compact (yet versatile) controller for doing live mix-downs with full Ableton support?

What exactly are you expecting it to do. I have a faderfox and it works fine with Live. I've jus configured it to do what I want.

What's missing?

automapping

the fixed midi mapping is only good if you never change your song template. When you start moving things around, deleting stuff, you'd have to continually manually re-assign your controllers.

Hello,

Just recently purchased a brand new faderfox but at the moment I am having some major problems setting it up. Apparently after setting it up under the preferences tab in Live, the device is getting midi input however (say I would like to slide the crossfader on the faderfox), I'm not getting any visual input of the Live crossfader moving as well. If it is already mapped by default why is it not repsonding? Do I need to set this up myself?....(or maybe I'm not understanding the concept of "native support").

I am using Live 7.0.3, one midi usb port and the faderfox. Nothing complicated but it has been driving me absolutely insane. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
