Akai MPD 24 or Akai MPD 16???

With the Trigger Finger you can back up your homemade presets and settings to an xml file. Is there a way to do this with the MPD 24?

I'd go with the 24.....There were issue's with early builds but i think the prob's are sorted out.

Look good on paper. Akai has a nice reputation. They are cheap.

I would say go for the MPD 24

Hi,
been wondering which way to go since I'd like to have one (MPD16, 24 or trigger finger) for launching the clips, and I have a couple of questions in order to help me out. I know that MPD 16 has two banks, which means that there are at hand 32 slots to be launched, MPD 24 has 4 banks to increase the amount to 64, right? Isn't it possible to toggle between midi-channels with these things?
Trigger Finger seems to offer 16 presets, which should raise the amount to 16 * 16, which increases the amount to errr... more than hundred, right?

How about the latency?
I play the clips without any launch quant. at all, which makes the low latency crucial.
