I have Ableton Live 6, Kontakt 3, Fast track pro, and a microkorg. I use my microkorg as my midi controller,and when I use Kontakt 3 as Standalone I can control the keys and hear sounds just fine. When I'm using Ableton and Kontakt 3 as a vst I can't control it with my midi keyboard, or any of the instrument racks in Ableton. Ableton is receiving midi signals cuz the midi indicator does light up. I also can produce midi notes on a track!!!! But it's not triggering any sounds from Kontakt or Ableton's Instrument racks. When I used that damn pencil to write in midi notes manually it triggers sounds (aint that funny!!!) but when I use my keyboard it produces notes but doesn't trigger sounds.....WHY???????? P.S my track is armed and when I manually press the pad on my instrument rack with the mouse it produces sound same goes for Kontakt keys as a VST!!!
Also the problem all started when I was using my computer keyboard as my midi controller and I tried to get my Herbie Hancock on and it hasn't work since...so I think i hit a wrong key or something becuase my computer keyboard has the say problem as my microkorg
