Drum editor
The midi editor really lacks when editing drum parts. It needs:
- a general midi drum map mode which shows the drum parts instead of notes
- a simple way of drawing in the velocity of only one part at a time
- groups, or whatever it is that makes most drum editors not play an open and closed high hat at the same time

i agree. i've been playing with the demo and i really need a midi drum map editor - all of my percussion comes from drum machines (x0x, etc), and its much easier to edit drums when you have a drum map instead of notes.
so far i haven't found a way of doing this, although impulse has a drum map style editor that can't be applied to editing other midi?
as soon as this feature is added (or i figure out how to do it) i'm ready to buy!

yeah, this is exactly it. when i demo live i can see just how crappy cubase really is, except for the midi editing. its soooo close, but not quite enough to make me switch. i so want to start using live as my main sequencer arranger!Anonymous wrote:Totally agree. The Live 4 MIDI implementation is so close to stepping up to Cubase and Logic users real needs. But it isnt quite there yet.
Would LOVE to see the drum map happen! Please!
