That doesn't tell us anything? If they loaded up a hundred EXS24's with orcehstral samples, that would be normal.

Oh, I thought you meant the swap file useage. Maybe they have multiple Logic nodes running? NO idea how that works as far as task monitor goes.

Logic has it's uses, but the design team NEVER follows through with anything. They implememnt a feature, it works half-assed, they don't update it. EVER. It's very frustrating.
I just switched from Logic, I'm still using the Live demo waiting for my freaking box to come from Sweetwater.
Logic can accomodate a little more than twice as many plug in instruements effects, reverbs etc...
Overall trying to make music in that program is utterly painful, I have used it for years, I know every damn key command / tip / trick, but I can tell you:
Live is the way to go.
Write in Live, use the 'render indiviual tracks' function, then import into Logic for mixdown.
Writing music in Logic is like pulling a tooth out of your mouth.
