Live 7 audition clip tempo behavior change?

With Live 7, when I audition clips in the browser, loops only play at their original tempo, not the tempo of the session...unless the session is actively playing.

It used to be that when auditioning clips in the file browser the loop would play at the tempo that the session was in, regardless of whether the session was playing. Now, the auditioned clips only play at their original tempo, unless the session is playing.

I hope this is a bug and NOT a change in Live 7 behavior! I hate when Ableton changes behavior without giving an option to turn off the new behavior.

Unless I'm missing something...

Nope, it's a change in version 7, loops playback in their original tempo unless the transport is running. Kinda lame I think too.

On the other hand I am quite happy to have an option for playing them at original tempo at all now.

But jeze, why does it always seem to be a few steps forward, and a couple backward with Live? They should have made this an option if they're going to change it.

With the new Live 7 behavior, you have to wait around for your nearest quantize point for the loop to play in the browser if you want to hear it in tempo. Plus you have to hear whatever clips are enabled to play. Most of the time you need to have context and hear clips in the tempo of the session, not their original tempo.

This bites big time to me, and I hope Ableton changes this.

especially Live 7 in rewire mode under logic 8
it makes whole song tempo change randomly . which is a bug
hmmmm... when will the bug fix update come out?
it's been a while and i m still getting stress because of that i don't ever needed...
I have to change tempo everytime after preview each sample.

10 samples 10 tempo changes...

still Live is my favorite...SO PLEASE PLEASE BUG FIX UPDATE HURRY URGENT!!!
