im having a little trouble programming my tf to use as a dj template, im trying to set it up so that each preset has the knobs controlling different eqs or effects and the faders to stay the same throughout each preset which i want to use for basic mixing (crossfade/track levels etc) also the pads to trigger clip slots. the trouble im having is that when i change presets and go into midi map in live and assign a knob or fader etc it cancels a previous assignment out.
i thought if each preset sends out on a different midi channel then that would do the trick. if anyone could point me in the right direction in setting it up in enigma that would be ace, as im struggling getting my head around cc and prg bank changes and how to use them, ive read the manuals etc but seem to be going round in circles (wouldn't ask otherwise).
thanks

you need to reprogram the knobs and faders on each tf preset.
- faders to transmit same cc on one midi-channel across all your presets
- knobs to transmit different cc acros all your presets.
then just midi-learn all the knobs on all the presets you'll use. you'll need to midi-learn your faders only once, as you've programmed them to the same cc for all presets.
as simple as that
