Novation X-Station and mapping

Hello

Recently got a X-station keyboard, and im trying to set up the sliders and knobs to control live's parameters. So far, I am failing. Running Live 6

I can play VST's with the keys and pitchbends, but nothing else works. Also, I can run the onboard synth sounds to live fine.

I want to be able to click the MIDI button in live, select something, and assign it a button. Like a volume fader on Live to one of the faders on my x-station.

You have enough information, thanks for the pics!

The X-Station doesn't work as a controle surface, it works as a remote MIDI device, turn both track and remote to ON bellow, and you'll be able to select sliders in Live to antyhing in an X-Station template.

Another peice of advice, Novation have extra templates on thier site for download, one of them is called something like "all MIDI" which is perfect for Live! Merry Christmas!
