Midi Sync Pc and Mac PROBLEM

Hi i'm running ableton 6.0.7 with a PC with Windows XP and trying to sync it with a Macbook Pro running Leopard with Ableton 7.

to sync them i'm using the PC as the master with a M-audio Midisport 2x2
and the MAc is the slave with a MOTU Fastlane.

So far i've been able to send Midi out from the PC (everything works, the LED light is lit on the 2x2 and the indicator is lit next to the EXT in live)

...but the Mac won't recieve anything, there is no flashing green indicator next to the EXT. The midi ports are all assigned correctly. The Fastlane lights arent lit.

I WAS using TWO Midisports, returned one and got the Fastlane to see if that would fix it, but it was the same problem. I tried opening Live 6.0.9 and using that, but nothing.

Hi,

Did you turn the EXT button ON, on the slave computer? Did you set the MIDI port to receive sync?

yes, if you mean that button between Track and Remote under Input, yes i did.

maybe if someone could just post Print Screen instructions so i can see the way they did it,
