I have Live 6 and Logic Studio 8 and I must say Live is more fun to use.

I am making more music with Live, it just dont kill the moment when you are inspired and creative.

Logic sounds a little bit better to my ears even Live 7 is behind.

More fun plugs in Live to use when experimenting like Beat Repeat!!!! and Chord and Arpeggiator and Pith and Scale and it goes on!

I also like to work in the Clip way, testing different Clips with each other and experiment from that.

When it comes to Audiorecording or linear recording nothing can touch Logic.

I am making electronic music and for that Live is the best of them all!

Have you test Logic? if not do it before you buy.

Happy New Year!

since upgrading to leopard and live 7, my live 7 performance has fell. maybe it is a leopard error, maybe it is an ableton error, but the bottom line is i need a program that works on my mac how i need it to. if live can not keep up then as much as i like it, i must say c ya. i really do like live, but if i have 8-10 tracks causing cpu spikes, forget about it, i am over it.

I'm not saying you did this, but I can't believe the amount of people that bought 7 and instantly unistalled 6. I bought 7 because I had the money at the time but I don't expect to go full blown into 7 until at least 2 more updates, which I feel they are way overdue in releasing the first update. Some people have miracle machines that seem to be running 7 fine but I think that is an exception more than a rule.

I've heard Logic has plenty of bugs to complain about as well but they just released an update so I'm not sure how much that helped.

Do you mean Logic Studio 1 (it's the first version) which contains Logic Pro 8 and other programs ? :D
