so everyone knows what the auto pan does. most of you know that the auto pan can be converted to an auto gate with a few simple knob tweaks. what i think would be totally amazing as an extra feature of the auto pan, is if it had 2 little tiny boxes where you could specify maximum transposition of the pitch of the signal, and minimum transpose of the pitch of the signal. even cooler if it had a max and min cents along with the semitones. it would be ALMOST like an audio signal arpeggiator. if you did an entire octave, you would have that old school trance sound built into an effect lol

My main wish for autopan is to allow uneven intervals, i.e. more time L than R, i.e. more time on than off, i.e. more time off than on, etc...

you mean like pulse width adjustment? thats a good idea too!

+
The ability to draw or load your own oscillator shape.
Morphing / interpolating between osc shapes.

Just let us draw the autopan shapes. Like the EQ8 nodes(?)
Or breakpoints
or something

maybe the ability to turn the looping of the osc off thus creating a envelope.
& user definable length,8 bars just not long enough for me.

How about auto detecting signal as the trigger as well??

+1, although you really can work around that by putting several in series.
My top wish for the AutoPan effect would be a true square, not just shape-adjusted saws. Pure square, loooong cycles, and perhaps even a duty cycle knob to let us dial in some smaller pulses... THAT would be bliss, from a weird-experimental audio rack perspective.
