Live 7 Freezes keyboard and MAJOR audio dropouts on playback

Im using Live 7 with a Saffire Pro on an ADK 1qsr laptop. Live 7 freezes the keyboard and mouse pad when Im live mixing with Stylus RMX in Live 7. I have to force shutdown the computer, to restart. I've also had big-time audio drop outs and I know its not my brand new Core2 Duo 2 gig ram 7200 rpm HD laptop. Anybody else with these problems?

Actually now I can say that its a problem with my Saffire pro 10 i/o and not Live 7. I'm getting drop outs in Live 6,7, and Reaper and a guy at KVRaudio said he was having the same problem on a mac using fl studio and a Saffire pro 26 i/o
