Describe/Post your live setup

What do you use to play out your Livesets, controllers hardware, software ect

Finally settling on a live setup that will give me freedom on stage and will be very usable in a live situation and above all intuitive (to me at least)

It currently consists of

macbook
ultralite
trigger finger x2
Bitstream w/footswitch
MK-249c
Sometimes I bring the Virus too.

I run Live and Reason on stage.

Bitstream in mackie mode, 8 channels, 8 channels of 3 trigger finger pads for triggering clips, one mute pad on each channel.

Sliders on TF's control, global quantise, clip start position, clip loop length, scene select, scene launch with foot controller. TF knobs are left mapped to macros (I like that feature)

For a new track just change preset +1 on both trigger fingers and bitstream, I can do it while clips are still playing, no waiting about, nothing, woo hoo

They've all been reprogrammed and mapped to Live just the way I want.

I usually like to record, chop things up on the fly, retrigger different parts of a loop, keep it loose and well... live. I've yet to play out with this particular setup but it's the most comfortable setup I've ever had for what I do.

I'm interested in how other people setup their Liveset

Fairly new to Djing with Live, used to use Traktor but here is my set up so far

Macbook 13.3"/2.2Ghz/2gb ram/120gb running Boot Camp (Win XP SP2)
I have Leopard but no drivers yet from M-Audio :(

Mac Bluetooth Keyboard
USB Wireless Mouse
19" LCD (expanded desktop)
Axiom 49
Firewire 410
Vestax VCI-100
External 500gb firewire hdd (song libraries)
Shure wireless mic

Transport controls on VCI-100 control selecting scenes and tracks
EQ knobs on VCI control EQ8 on two audio tracks
Loop buttons on VCI-100 control Loop enable/disable, Loop set, and loop end
Other buttons and knobs are mapped to effect enables and dry/wet controls

I am still trying to create work arounds so I can use all of the controls on the VCI because some of them create messages that conflict with the Axiom 49

My goal is total mouseless operation when DJing, using the Axiom 49 to trigger latin percussion samples/loops, using all of the keys and octave combinations to launch clips. I guess this would give me mouseless operation.

Simple but powerful I'm sure

Hmmm Lemur, but I don't think I'd be able to justify one anytime soon.

Contemplating a monome sixty-four when they come out though.

I use a behringer one I got with my V amp ages ago it has two switches but the Bitstream just sees the left one. Haven't had any reboot problems though

Now see, everybody just upped the ante right here - now it's YouTube videos and pictures... crikey. Alright, will have to whip something together, then.
