I vote for the BCR.

You can program the LEDs to give different kinds of feedback as well and its actually easy enough to program to make it viable.

For $100 its hard to argue against it.
15" PB 2.5 Ghz, 4 Gig RAM, 750 GB HD, Live 9 still no cue points or program change messages?!?. Doesn't do shit.

The BCR option definitely seems feasible, although I'd like to rip out the guts and make my own custom funky case. I wish I could get a doepfer, but ones I've seen for sale are too pricey. Where can a BCR be found for $100 usd?
Thanks all!

doepfer: 64 knobs * 3 presets
..Sold out....
Any chance to find it on eBay?
Yes, they do show up on eBay now & then, but you'll have to hunt for it. Be prepared to pay around $250 - $375 US.

It features 64 potentiometers x 2 banks = 128 knobs.

The knobs have a nice smooth feel. Overall, a very good product indeed. It is a shame that they are no longer being manufactured.
