HELP: Karaoke or similar plugin!

I recently got Karaoke, to remove the vocals from tracks, to aid in mixing, mashing, and creation of loops for my own songs.
i installed the plugin properly, it works and all, but when i set it to a song to remove the vocals, it doesnt actually work :S
I'm using Live 7.0.1, and it just doesnt take the vocals out, just dims the sound down a little bit.
help anyone?

The secret with Karaoke is...hiring real musicians to record the instrumental part of the songs...

I do that with some friends for a studio that does this for a recording company that sells the "Karaoke cd's". Actually, there's no a "magic" software that extracts the vocal parts from songs, it can be done in part but it's not perfect.

hahah, alright i guess i should just rule extracting the vocals out then.
