Toast Titanium 8.0 disturbing noise?

Hey all.

I am trying to record some cd's with Toast titanium and i can listen to a disturbing sound like buzzing...

I use the 8.0 version. I am on a mac. The file in my computer is clean. It is in aiff format.

Any idea on what might be wrong?

I also tried different types of cds.

It may be that the original file is 48khz sample rate...Toast 8.0 appears to have a problem with that...

the original file is 44 khz,

I don't know what to say. I did have some troubles with Toast 7 but now it seems pretty serious with that...

anybody else can help here?

hey, sorry for the previous reply...

My file was in 48000 khz and i converted it just now to 44 khz.

And the new recording in Toast is clean!

Thank you very much. I have couple of questions:

Why this file could be written in 48000 Khz?

In the new one instead of the mgb are same with the previous, its length appears 1 minute longer.... Strange isn't it?

The first one is 202 mb and 12:19 minutes and the second one is 202 mb but 13:20 minutes.

When i import the file in Logic i see its length as 13:20.

And in my Finder its length appears as 12:19.

Any help here? Isn't it weird?
