Naming CC controllers?
How do I name CC controllers, so I have some idea what I'm working with? The default names CC20, etc, don't cut it for me. Also in clip mode, is there anyway to view and edit more than one controller at once? It doesn't seem possible which is sad, ideally I want to be able to view all controller envelopes at once, like you can in pro daw's like cubase, logic, etc.

why did you spell 'DAWs' with an apostrophe?jamesdstark wrote:pro daw's like cubase, logic, etc.

you are right
You can't
But you can see more than automation line at once now.
Myself I simply take notes of what controller is doing what.
Anyway naming it wont tell you how many parameters are mapped to the cc. When you go in midi assign mode ( ctrl+m) you will have a detailled list.

you can see more than one automation line at once? How? I'm only able to show one controller envelope within the one available clip view, unless you can have multiple clip views open somehow? Or are you referring to arrangement view, you can see one automation line per track? I need multiple automation lines per track, in session mode.
