Absolutely making "pro" music in Ableton is not a problem. You simply have to A: Know what your doing and B: Have the right plug-ins as with any other DAW.

Hmm, I don't recognize any of those guys, but I am sure they are pro.

I am off to put a 18 HZ boost in my kick drum and HP some TRIANGLE WAVES. I have read that is a pro thing to do.

I do not know if this is a joke or not. 99% of vst eq's do not even address anything under 20hz so to anyone that advised you to push up 18Hz on a kick drum is very wrong. 18Hz is barley felt yet even heard by any human ear and is something that should be avoided on any record rock or techno.

I don't see Sheena Easton on that list. She sung Sugar Walls. Big hit in 1984. Written by Prince. Yes Sir'ee. Sheena Easton.

I would bash and crumble her sugar walls with my elongated member.

Then I would adjust my release time accordingly.

She also had this hit.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0vw-afywW8

She is the only UK female artist to have 2 top ten singles on the UK singles charts at the same time since 1959.

Sheena Easton. 9 -5 (Morning Train). And Sugar Walls. Hot.
