ReWire and VirSyn tomfoolery

Hi,

for some reason when i try to load Max/Msp or Fruityloops as a rewire Slave, Virsyn always starts !! Ive deinstalled and reinstalled VirSyn but still get the same problem. All ReWire clients load fine when Fruityloops is Master so I therefore figure its a Live4 problem.

Help would be GREATLY appreciated

I reported this during the beta. It still happens to me as well.

I'd write Harry at Virsyn and tell him your problem.His ReWire implementation is wacked somewhere-while I don't have any problems
with Tera in Live as a ReWire slave,I do have problems with it ReWired in Sonar.

Hi All,


I think it's a Virsyn problem. Virsyn opens it's application window when
Live loads Virsyn's ReWire engine. The ReWire specification says that the
window shall only open when the host application (in this case Live)
forces this to do. But we don't. Perhaps it would be a good idea telling
the manufacturer of this ReWire slave.
