HEH - you caught that was a typeo.. been arguing with people on other threads about abortion!! I think the issue is divisive and if we truly want to stop abortions, we must prevent unwanted pregnancy. thats where we need to be spending our time and attention. teach kids about sex, make sure they have access to condoms, explain that sex is beautiful but dangerous, teach them the dangers of stds and pregnancy. stop shaming kids for sex and thinking that abstinence is the only way to stop pregnancy. to think that kids can ignore their primal hormonal urges to mate is simply naive.

you can never stop abortion. they will happen no matter what the laws are. the best you can do is educate people, offer safe medical services and counseling before and after. the notion of ending abortion is an idea in the heads of people who live in a bubble.

Thank you for the kind words. You are right I would love to see peace, not even for myself but for my kids and grandkids and their children. Is it possible. Hundreds of years of history have shown us it is not. As long as human beings have emotions there will never be peace. I saw first hand at a young age what people were capable of in the forgotten wars of Africa such as Angola, Mozambique, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, and theThe Congo. We can debate these till the cows come home and we will still disagree. So for now let's just agree to disagree.

heh, going by what I saw on jesus camp alone...I wouldn't call them religious. Politics hijacking a religion, imo.

As for consciousness.. To be conscious now is surly the same as being conscious yesterday, tomorrow or six thousand years ago... no?

some things may be evolving within the human species, one important thing isn't tho. Our immune system. It's been going nowhere and some even say that it's getting weaker as we use anti-biotics and the more weaklings breed, meanwhile viruses are evolving and growing stronger thanks to the rigorous workout we're giving them with our medicines.

many people around the world are still unconscious. there have been a select few over the last thousands of years who have become conscious, they were amazing humans who did great things but the world was not ready for them and they were killed. today more and more are waking up. there is an amazing movement going on. a true revolution. a revolution of ideas. when I said we're evolving, i meant our ideas are evolving. spiritually, we are becoming conscious. good will overcome evil. peace will overcome war. it is coming. i can feel it.

well, it's good that people still want to improve things, but of course we are evolving - the world is a completely different place to even 30 years ago
