The answer is really simple people: You need to use plugs that have the word "Pro" in them for that "pro" sound. For instance, Fabfilter Pro-C, Phatmatik-Pro, PROtools, etc. Live is definitely NOT PRO . . .

as far as i know Daft Punk played Alive 2007 using Ableton Live. it sounds pretty pro to me.

but apparently the doctors who worked on his momma were not pro. and that american idol guy uses live. he's a pro, so live must be pro. i should stop using it. or start buying those "pro" plugs
