No keyboard-entries possible in Reactor 5 VST with Live 7
Hello!
After the update to Live 7, it is no longer possible for me to enter any information with the keyboard into an active window of the Rector-VST-Plugin. Every command is somehow "reserved" for Live.
For ecample, pressing Backspace can (if the plugin is selected in Live) result in deleting the plugin, because this is the normal action, Live executes, when Backspace is pressed. But (different to my former experiences) this wont delete any character inside Reactor for example in a text field.
This is for every key on my keyboard. The comands are only passed to Live, not to Reactor.
I hope you was somehow able to unterstand my explanation...
Greetings from Germany!

Thanks for your reply, this is a good point, did not think of testing this. Result:
There are not many that work with key inputs, but those who do that, do it fine.
So it seems as if this is a Reactor related problem...

My English is not perfect, I know... Sorry about that.

P.S. to wishlist forum users: Please search for former requests. Otherwise they will be splitted into many small ones and we are loosing impact!!!

Test Reactor to stand alone or on any other sequencer, you will see it work perfectly.
We have thousands to this problem whith Reacktor and FM8 & Absynth...

Of course, I did not mean a problem only related to Reaktor but in combination with Live.Test Reactor to stand alone or on any other sequencer, you will see it work perfectly.
I do not have those, so I could not test it. They are all from Native Instruments, right? We have thousands to this problem whith Reacktor and FM8 & Absynth...
Sorry, did not find them with my search in the forum.Several were open thread on here, there was no solution at present ...
The same problem was also posted in the NI Reaktor forum, without an answer yet.
What about contacting Ableton-Service directly?

This happens with all NI plugins in combination with Live (and also some other manufacturers plugins as it seems). Ableton has acknowledged the problem with Reaktor (read the sticky at the top of this section) but not with the other plugins. The problem is known for a long time and seems to have emerged after Live 6.07 (according to a user post that version still worked properly).
