I load Atmosphere, using the LIVE VST window interface, I attempt to load a FXP file, it looks like it successfully loads, no errors. Yet, Atmosphere is still playing it's initial SINE wave.
FYI: This was attempted on my PowerBook.

I've tested it on Mac and it works for me. Can you tell me which version of Atmophere are you using? Is it the newest version?

The newest release that supports LFO syncing to the host. Atmosphere v1.2.
One additional piece of information. With Albino 2, I'm able to save a preset on my PC DAW, and load it on my Powerbook... all is fine. This Atmosphere FXP file in question, is saved on my PC DAW under Cubase SX, and attempting to load it into my PowerBook under LIVE 4.01.

Can you do the same trick with Cubase? Save on PC and load on Mac? Cross platform compability has to be implemented on plug-in level and not from host.

Ok.. I did my homework.
1. I saved an FXP out of Atmosphere while in Cubase Sx2.0.35 on my PC
2. Tried loading it into LIVE 4.01 on the PC, it crashed LIVE
3. Tried loading it into LIVE 4.01 on my Powerbook, it didn't load
4. I saved an FXP out of Albino 2 while in Cubase SX 2.0.35 on my PC
5. Tried loading it into LIVE 4.01 on my Powerbook, it works perfectly.
It definitly looks like Spectrasonics has an issue with Atmospher loading FXP files. I'm gonna email them.

Talking about Atmosphere, when you save a FXP in Live 4.0.1 on PC, you can load it on PC with Live 4.0.1 again, right? This is what I tried.
From your description I am not 100% sure that it is Spectrasonics fault. I will test compability of FXP files with Cubase SX on monday.
