Impulse won't play from the computer keyboard

I'm running Live Lite 6 and Impulse won't play from the computer keyboard

The instruments from the instrument rack or Simpler play fine...

any ideas?

Use the Z or X keys to transpose the keyboard to the right key range.

use z to shift down an octave, and x to shift up. impulse is automapped for octave c3 to c4...
the status bar at the bottom will tell you what
octave you are in. Once you're in there it will
work as long as the track's armed. Also, if you
hook it up to a pad controller make sure you
have the pads assigned c3-c4 - I haven't been
able to figure out how to assign anything to impulse using cc's instead of midi notes. It will
only let you use c3-c4 ~ so make sure if you
are triggering samples they aren't assigned to
that octave.... or else you will trigger samples
AND your impulse!
