Rewire Cubase SX3 to Ableton 6 sync probs

I can rewire A6 into SX3 ok, get the loops all jamming together. Problem happens when i mixdown into cubase, huge delay between ableton starting up and cubase recording (like , a half bar). i can visually see ableton start half a second before cubase does after i hit the space bar.

Anyone else come across this ?

I have read other people having no issues with the two programs.

this is my problem now.. My 4/4 kick is off 1 beat. Infact any wave file converted is off 1 beat.. While it loops fine it's not cool because when I start adding things on Cubase, it's not going to be on time. HEEELLLPPP

Does it make a difference when you do a "mixdown in realtime" in Cubase?

The problem could be that Live does not know if the audio processing from the ReWire (so Cubase in that case) master is not done in real-time.
