Multi-track recording in Ableton 6

Post by Naram » Wed Jan 16, 2008 11:19 pm

Hi, this might be a really silly question but I want to know if it is possible to record more than one audio track at once. For example could I record an entrie studio session, including drums on many different mics into different tracks. The reason i ask is that when I click record on a track the other track armed to record always de-arms... :?:

go to your preferences and on the record/warp/launch tab deselect the arm button (next to exclusives) now youl be able to arm as many track as you want, you can also do this with solo so you can solo as many track as you want as well.

alternatively hold down control to arm/solo more than one track.
