Audio Drop-outs while soloing tracks in 7.01
Audio Drop-outs while soloing tracks in 7.01
I get a few drop-outs of audio that lasted a while. At first no audio indicated in master. Then it showed but there was still no sound. Had to Restart live to get it back.
7.0.2b3
i would try upgrading to the current beta, where the ableton people have addressed some of the more annoying bugs in version 7.

Re: 7.0.2b3
This is not a beta. You are right. I intentionally did not post this there as I am concentrating on a deadline and I do not have time to beta test. To be a little more direct, this is not a beta that I am using. On the off-hand chance that I did not already think about posting in the beta section, again, I appreciate the advice.kipling wrote:i would try upgrading to the current beta, where the ableton people have addressed some of the more annoying bugs in version 7.
beta?
hello again!
i'm sorry...i think i might misunderstand ableton's designations. i believe when live 7 came out, there were problems that they tried to fix in subsequent beta releases. i think the most recent beta has fixes that the previous "official" releases have. in any case, i would check this out, as the ableton team has often recommended going to the most recent beta for certain problematic fixes.
if live 6.0.10 was stable for you, then i would go back. i haven't myself, since i am between jobs at the moment, and don't need to have ableton 100% reliable.
best,
kipling

You are trying to be helpful and I really appreciate it. Thank you. The problem has only happened once during the last month or so of constant use, so i don't feel threatened by it. Also because I did not have time to document everything I was doing at the time it happened, I see no point in starting a new thread about it. Especially since something similiar happened (though it seemed resolved till now) at the begining of the beta testing, and it was afaik ignored, like some of the other problems I posted about and felt I could live with while completing this project.
You raise an excellent point though. Due to my collaborator's reluctance to purchase this upgrade I had to recreate the set for version 6. Although I like the new compressor, I should be able to use 6 for this project- should I feel uncomfortable using Live 7 publicly next weekend.
Cheers.
