It's a pretty nice way to learn some stuff about Live for people new to the app. Though the last one kinda ended up turning into a debate on who owns the rights to music, which was weird....

Ha! I was the guy in the wool military coat standing in the back!

Only dragged out because that one dude that looked like a studio owner was trying to get the speaker ( Scientific American ) to admit to stealing people's music.... blah...>

I strolled in late, hard to find that place for a Seattle newb like me :)

Yeah, that older guy was definitely stirring things up, though to be fair, Scientific American was making some contridictory statements too.

Anyway, if you're going to the next one, we should make a point to say hello. I was hoping to meet some people at the last one, but everyone just kinda broke out asap once it was done. Kinda weird that.

Yeah I'll remember and wear the same coat, grey 1940's swedish military jacket, pockets in back. I have a little grey hair on the sides like Mr. Fantastic, and nerd/old man glasses.
No, just the fact you use the same stuff man, very good.

Just to get a picture of who I was, I'm the one standing up in the back who was saying hip hop used to be good when they could lift things from other records.

The meetings are always good. Kris does a great job, and it's always a nice mix of people.
Not sure if it's true, but I heard these meetups are coming to an end though. Which would be too bad. I always look forward to them.
