Ableton Support - Good or Bad?

Post by mX » Thu Aug 12, 2004 2:19 pm

I've sent three emails to Ableton tech support with no response. Is this the norm? Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal to wait a week for a response? All I need is an addtional unlock code for my laptop. I'm a paying customer and I can't get any help.

when I was having trouble they got back I think it was 2 days max. But I also had to account for the fact that they're in Berlin and I'm in Colorado. Usually though they're pretty fast and are perhaps more helpful and responsive than most emailed tech support.

also, you don't need another unlock code for your laptop, they will allow a couple of unlocks. they're cool and understand that the people who buy this app usually have more than one computer that it needs to be on, for gigging and such.

ableton has occasionally gotten back to me about problems as quickly as within the hour. they have probably the BEST support of any company i've dealt with - not just audio, either. ANY company.

OK. This is good to hear.

For whatever reason, Ableton is showing that I've unlocked Live 4 SIX times. 8O

I haven't shared or misplaced my serial. I'm now wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem?

Anyway, I've been contacted. Hopefully it will be resolved ASAP. :(
