Bastard.
I have to agree somewhat but somebody would have done it. Part of what made the movie good to me was not knowing what to expect. The original previews gave you jack and shit. I also got into a prescreening of Blairewitch and I think that made it a fun experience because I had no idea what it was going to be about. On a funnier note, I got into a similar screening of Raiders of the Lost Ark and I thought it was going to be about The Oakland Raiders (piss off, I was young) and I couldn't give a fuck less about football and didn't even want to see it.

I also agree with Terekith that it's not the best movie ever made but given the obvious possibility for complete cheese with the premise I think they did the best they could. We should give it another week to give people the chance to see it before we go over the highs and lows of the movie.

I felt motion-sick 5 minutes into the movie.. I want my money back! I thought the movie would be just as good if it was filmed from a traditional point of view.

No way, the whole camcorder thing was perfect IMO, that's what made it such an awesome movie.

Like the camcorder or not, you have to admit that it took some serious planning to make it appear as if the entire movie was shot with one camera continuously and make it an interesting and coherent movie. Now, only if we could get that camcorder's battery in our laptops or cell phones.

WRONG!! It's a story of two lovers who had been friends all their lives until one magical night when their love and attraction were both realized and acted upon....but this night only caused confusion as both their lives were going in different directions. It could never work....or could it?! There are times in our lives when you don't realize what is important to you until everything and everyone you know is getting crushed and trampled into smitherines. This is that moment. This is that story.
So wait!!
Is it Godzilla or sleepless in Seattle that this film is a remake of???
I'm a tad confused

I'm gonna try and see it today. I may take some dramamine after my Chipotle burrito to prevent prospective impromptu mid-show "recyling".

Anyway, I've read on another forum I inhabit that there is talk of (or confirmation) of a sequel. Apparently, this movie has a lot of stuff that people don't catch the first time through, though I tried to avoid these discussions/spoilers.

I could easily see a sequel or a prequel to this. A lot of explaining needs to be done. And the entire movie will be filmed using the next generation iphone.

although one of the best things is that there is no explanation at all as to where it started, or what it wants, or how it ended...

Yeah but I want to find out if it's tied to the little girl at the bottom of the well and why she uses VHS technology instead of Blu-ray.
