Help!!! Please Read

Post by Persian Man » Tue Jan 22, 2008 7:26 pm

So... I just got the Trigger Finger for Christmas. I downloaded the demo version of Live 7 because of the drum rack and to see the program istelf. I am having trouble. I can chop up my sample and upload them in the drum rack and record them but I don't see how you lay out the track. I see it in the midi form but I don't see how you lay them all out for the final product. Also I need help with making bass, not that club bass, just normal bass for a hip hop beat.

Can some one please make a quick video of them laying out a whole track? (Drums, Bass, and a sample, or keys.)

Also how do you change the tempo of the sample you chopped up and put in the drum rack because when I put slice into new midi track it changes the tempo but if I chop it my self it keeps the original tempo.

THANKS FOR ANY HELP :D

click on the TAB button to get to arrangement window, select the midi track for the drum rack, hit record, and you're away.
before you post a response saying this doesn't work I'd recommend the excellent tutorials and well written manual included with the demo / downloadable from this site. In my experience it will save you hours of swearing and waiting for people to respond to open ended questions on forums
