I haven't read the 12 pages of comments but apart from collapsing, what will be new with this feature?
You can already group mix sending multiple tracks audio to another track in IN mode...
And the new routage-seeking solo feature is really good implementation.
so for me is a +0,5
. Count my vote only if the new feature doesn't consume CPU .

It's 1/5 about functionality (group solo, sub-scenes)
It's 1/5 about usability and work flow (select and group all at once + "folder" type concept by making those tracks close together and foldable)
I made this request before Live 7 and drum racks did a pretty good job of doing exactly this. Take the way drum racks work and apply to any bunch of tracks and you have a good idea of what I'm talking about.

Not sure what everyone else is thinking, but this is what I'm hoping for:Boo wrote:...

Clip Launch and stop buttons for the group (sub-scenes). You'd also need the equivalent of a dummy clip to control automation on the group parameters.
Multitake (vocal comping) on audio group tracks. You know that cross fading thing everyone complains they don't have. The only way to do it is if each track can play multiple audio files at the same time. I'd guess the easiest way to implement it would be to have each take being recorded into a new audio track in a group.
Drag groups of tracks to and from the browser.
Yeah, fold tracks for neatness wold be nice as well. Works very well for drum racks.
Jep, bring it on.
