Basslane with racks?

Post by me_lindsay » Sat Jan 26, 2008 3:46 am

Hi All,

I'm on osx so am unable to use the Basslane plug which looks pretty handy.

Any ideas on whether it would be possible to recreate this plug using the native ableton plugs?

And if so how would I go about creating this...it seems like a lowpass filter with a stereo widener.

Cheers

create two chains with an EQ 8 with just one band activated on each chain

set the eq on one chain to be a low pass filter and set the other eq as a highpass

on the one with the low pass ass a utility plugin with the the width set to 0%

find the crossover frequency of the two EQ's and adjust the Q's for minimal phasing..
