I'd want to be The Jury, Judge, And Executioner Of All Stupid People Who Do Stupid Shit.

Starting with...

People who vote for presidential candidates based solely on skin color....

And especially...very so fuck much especially...those who vote for a particular candidate simply due to her being born without a cock and balls.

...I'd probably, exucte, jail, and/or torture 90% of the U.S. South for giving us Soulja Boy, 8 years of BUSH, 200 repetitious yet hilarious episodes of Jerry Springer, and last but not least...

Forever more reason to believe that most of those motherfuckers can't read and are most likely to vote for any candidate who continuously mentions, Jesus, family, conservatism, and protection from all foreign intruders(mostly terrorists and Mexicans) all in the same tired ass repetitious speeches.

Lofa, you familiar with the Manchester Craftsman's Guild? I saw Bill Strickland speak Wednesday night at the Enoch Pratt Library here in Baltimore. Very inspiring guy.

Yeah, I think I'd do something like that full time.

+1 brother. The Laptopalooza tour with Rahlo, Cosmosuave, Ducktail and the guys really opened my eyes. That was fucking HARD on the mind and body; and I'm in the army, so I don't say that lightly.

Best answer so far! I think that looking at all the posts previous, one can see why communism fails; there's no incentive to be an engineer or a middle manager when the guy who works at a warehouse or delivers auto parts to garages (and I did both those jobs, they were fucking SWEET in every way except for minimum wage) makes the same money.

That's why even "communist" systems evolve into classed societies; Human beings naturally establish a social pecking order. While capitalism isn't necessarily equal, it is mostly fair, as it is the most meritocratic system yet developed.

or, rather than poppycock, something completely supported by every "communist" example/experiment you can point to (USSR, red china, all had to provide incentives for the smart/skilled people to do their thing, do it better, etc., and always had lousy product of every kind on just about every level because of the far, far lower level of incentive their systems provided for good/quality work). to be fair, maybe the cambodian example doesn't support this, but that's cause there's no dataset, the KR having killed anyone with a brain and effectively set the country back hundreds of years, a back to the past agrarian nightmare.

Of course there's an incentive to be an engineer or a middle manager, regardless of pay. The incentive would be doing something that you like. There might not be an incentive to work 80 hours per week, but then the fact that our economy requires some people to do that is but another sign that it is fundamentally sick and unnatural.

The fact you take the failure of the Soviet Union as proof of the non-viability of any and all possible communist, socialist or anarchist economic systems is a sign of an advanced case of brain washing - but of course, in the case of dear Monty "Rambo" Balfour, that hardly comes as a surprise.
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

If all you were to do was delete pr0n you'd get my vote, i don't give a shit who does it.

As for a job, I'd like to be a gardener on a small tropical, self sufficiant island with a couple of nice girls for company. It'd have to have two or three really nice little reef breaks, no sharks and a big satelite dish for communication. Yup, I could deal with that I think.

I told you I would swop with you in a heatbeat just to get out of this shitty country.

Surfing this time of year around here we have to wear so much rubber that seals have ACTUALLY been known to try to mate with you, seriously. By brother knows a guy who had it happen! He was just getting out of the water near a pier and this weight landed on his back and tried to force him under, male seals try to half drown a female to pacify her into consent.
I was in the water alone with a huge bull seal only two weeks ago, he kept looking at me then going under and coming up on the other side of me. If he'd had a go I'm really not sure how I'd of fought him off, it might have been better to make the appropriate noises in the hope of bringing him off a bit quicker and thereby not drowning under the weight.
