Hey guys, Ive been quietly lurking here and completely loving every second of working with Ableton Live 7. The box finally came in the mail on Friday with a nice fresh tasty copy of Session Drums. So I pretty much drew the curtains and took out a few tracks Ive been working on, tearing the old drums out of them and replacing them with Session Drums. All I can say is... awesome! Im not sure if the tracks actually sound good, no other ears have heard them yet, but I had a blast laying out the beats.
Heres the link (sorry for the loss of quality, its not as bad as Myspace but nothing like the originals):

Im using about three different kits in Suffocate. All the beats except the Chrous were thrown in the (izotope) Trash. The chorus has a bit of Ozone on it but no EQ.
The drums (half way through) in Nothing Lasts are pure Session Drums with a hint of Ozone also. No other effects. I wanted to get a sleazy garage band feel for this one so I didnt use much quantization at all. Sounds OK to my ears but some of it may be out of pocket.
Let me know what you think, but either way Im totally #!@#ing happy with Ableton Live 7 and Session Drums. =)
