Live 7 changes tempo of Logic Pro 8!!
Hi.
I had written this bug to support and they responded and even they accepted this bug. but it was not fixed yet even though 3 more beta were released.
This is a very annoyin bug i have seen, cuz it is the most important feature for me and my main reason to buy Live.
When i open live as rewire slave, i am just usin it like sampler. And when i click any sample (wav) file, master tempo of logic pro 8 changes to 120 bpm..
is there anybody who have this problem?
Thanks....

Hi,
We've fixed one issue that made tempo changing in an unwanted manner, when Live is Rewire to Logic. Could you test in the latest beta?
Basically, the set's tempo should never ever change, when previewing or loading a clip in the set, if Live is a Rewire slave. So, if it still happens for you with the current beta (could be that there is another issue on top of the one we've fixed), we'd be very interested in getting a scenario to reproduce it.
Regards,
Amaury

Hi Amaury
I have just tested again in 7.0.2b5 ( i guess this is my 1000. testing )
And -unwanted- tempo changing is still happenin
As i said before. after i open live as rewire slave with logic pro 8. when i preview any wav sample file, logic's tempo is changing to 120 bpm. this is the bug made me crazy.
Hi Hoffman2k
If it is a new feature i really need an option to turn it off otherwise i dont want this feature.
Thanks

Thanks for reporting, I could indeed reproduce this bug and reported it already. It seems that it is a different bug than the one we've fixed, although the result looks the same. To me, it happens when I preview a clip, and then double click it to insert it into the set.

Amaury
PS: the new feature is that when a clip is inserted in an empty set, and the tempo of the set has not been edited, then it is set to the clip's tempo. But of course, that should never happen if Live is a Rewire slave.

Hi Amaury
I have this problem also -
when I have Live synced as a rewire slave to Logic 8
when i audition various clips the tempo changes in Logic...
this didn't happen on every clip but as soon as i have auditioned 3 or so
the tempo flipped and went to 112.73 bpm when logic was set at 125bpm? weird.
hope it can be fixed
Leo.

Which exact version of Live are you using?
