Zooming into waveform of clip, Ableton gets sluggish

got a new vostro 1500 laptop, dual core to duo, 160 GB (5400), 2GB Ram, 128 mb geforce.

if i zoom in a waveform ableton gets sluggish. If i put that waveform in the RAM, everything is fine and smooth.

wondering if its normal on laptop 5400 Hard Disks?!?!?!???!?!?

Its a real new Laptop........cannot reallly accept and ignore it by putting everything (if it all fits) in the RAM,......if THIS is not normal.

seem to be a problem with nvidia. a friend of mine has the same "problem". Maybe not everybody really understood me, its not concerning the audio-signal, just the graphical behaviour (its sluggish).
Just dont care about it anymore and if i warp i put it in the ram.

for those who`re interested in....
