UH-OH...Ableton wont load (any way to change prefs?).

I must have set Ableton to scan my entire hard drive for VSTs because on load up it's doing it. It's getting hung up on some deleted email in my Temp file and shutting down.. Anyone know what to do? This is bad. Please don't tell me I have to reinstall. Thanks.

just delete the preferences.cfg file, it's no real harm..

Crazy. I was just going to post the exact same problem. And I followed your suggestion and deleted the .cfg file and it works! Thanks y'all.
