that gives me an idea, aside from being one of the most chill dudes on the planet you're also in the midst of your warm months. most Live users are in the northern hemisphere where it's been cold and bleak. I know for me the cold, rain and being sick is absolutely taking the piss out of me.
I think you are onto something here. I just got back from 31 days in Vancouver, Canada. During that time I saw blue sky on 2 days. Just walking round town most people staring at their feet, hard to make eye contact. People seemed just a bit gloomy. The weather has GOT TO mess with your happy circuts dosen't it? Vitamin D I think. I'd post a pic of my local white sandy beach but I don't know how and I don't want to start another 'bag me' thread :?

Me too. But to be honest, I'm finding it hard to see what all the fuss is about. I am a noob with Live and new to this Forum. I found it a bit intimidating at first, but Tone Deft actually put it into perspective for me in another thread. He said people 'rant in certain styles' 'its just what people do.' Maybe its my old age or something, or maybe its because I don't have any percieved status on this forum but if I take TD's advice then I don't get sucked in to the negative. I can see it for what it is. I know there is a whole 'culture' thing here with status, opposite views, bad boys etc, but I really enjoy the WHOLE thing. If everyone just took the non Live stuff with a bit of salt and worked on there own game more then you would see things for what they are... an annonomus place for advice and Fuckwittery. Take a step back once in a while. Ever thought you might be taking yourselves just a little bit too serious?

Call Domino's Pizza and Whores. If it's not delivered in 30 minutes or less, it's free.

Words matter...they can make someone's day, and they can inflict pain. I'm not sure why, but in the past few weeks, the forum has become negative and mean spirited.

For the sake of our community, I'd ask that we try to tone it down a bit and try to be nice. Even if we disagree, we can do it respectfully. There's no need to call people names. I'm sure we can get the discussions back to being about audio and other funny OT posts.

And for those of you that are going to hate on this request, well, there's not much I can do about that. It's your personal choice to say what you want to say. I can only make the request that we try to get back to the fun and stay away from the hostility.
Hi Neb, you have obviously witnessed this type of hostility or you wouldnt have posted this, but I would like to add that I have experienced the exact opposite as well. People in this forum have gone out of their way to help me. So I guess what I'm saying is that you will always get the few people that squabble or want to pick fights, ridicule, criticise excessively, act hard behind their keyboard etc but there is much good in this community, which we must not forget. Hayz ;)

I think there is so much tension and hostility in the world that we live in...

It's gonna come out somewhere..

Man, so much shit is going down, there are some really BIG changes taking place right now as we compile all this BS...

Let's not spend too much energy on trivia here..

All this energy that we share collectively has the potential to really tweak the collective mind....

More hippy BS or what?

Heed the words of John Paul 3:14

Ye artith of man not of woman
the birth of our savior has come to bear
least I believe in that which maketh a man gold

hark the yellow stone of thy lamb
remember thine eyes have not seen thy glory

be gone with the wind like Phrophet Toms
Be happy in ye all you do

thou wilt shall conquer than be blastphamous

whoever said it upthread said it best. keep this place punk-rock!

i think the influx of aggression comes from all the new pirate users brought in by v7. (warning, massive generalisation ahead!) i would think that most peeps who have paid their hard earned for the software, would want to stick around and help the community thats helped them.
