I'm by far too busy to care for what's happening on the forum at the moment. I'm trying to prevent that my telephone and internet connections are cut tomorrow. But it looks like it will happen anyway because the new and the old provider don't communicate like you would expect from "communication" companies. Seems like my old provider will cut the line tomorrow and the new one will not be able to give me a new line until Feb. 29th.

It's not clicking the link that's the issue; vigorous pron filters look for keywords that contain links, and then the addresses of those links and compare that to a list of "usual suspects". I know for instance that because of some common words used in Dungeons and Dragons, it's impossible to check out those sites at a lot of workplaces. So far, Ableton.com/forum is under the radar of commercially available internet filters, but for how much longer?Tone Deft wrote:I have never once clicked on a pron post 'accidentally', most often it's curiosity of what's going on. anyone who gets tricked by those posts should probably be taken out of the gene pool.M. wait, does this mean that the porn bots come here because i do stuff like call people "dumb fuck cum-dumpsters?" Or say that "they should have been a blowjob?" Or encourage turtle sex? Or claim that certain people fellate stray dogs in their spare time?
because that's awesome.

scaremongering comes naturally to Monty
why don't you get Angstrom to slap together a porn-killer-script ?forge wrote: exactly
All you need surely is a list of the foul words that you don't want to see in the SUBJECT fields.
if: naughty word is in subject
then: hide thread
else: do nothing
Your problem, solved.
When the coast is clear you can hover your mouse over the censored thread SUBJECTS to see what they say, and if the coast is clear (no boss or kids) ... you can check it out, or not, or whatever......
Porn in 'regular' threads are few and far between, once in a blue moon material.
